Doors at 19.30 - show starts at 20.00. The event is in the Beechey Room. Please use rear entrance to York House. There is a ramp for wheelchair access, and York House has disabled toilet facilities. There will be a small bar with wine, beer and soft drinks. All profits from ticket money and bar go to York House’s community projects.
Roy Nevitt moved to Stony Stratford in 1967, initially to work as a lecturer in Drama, training teachers at North Buckinghamshire College of Education, situated in Bletchley Park. After two years there and three and a half years in the USA, he returned to England and in 1974 was appointed Director of Drama at Stantonbury Campus.
He played a key role in building up drama and theatre in the new city, involving students, the community at large and professional theatre practitioners.
For 7 years he was Chair of the MK Theatre and Gallery Company, responsible for the Theatre and Gallery, which he also helped to bring into existence.
With Roger Kitchen and Maggie Nevitt, he founded the Living Archive and was its Artistic Director for 10 years.Tickets will be on sale from Saturday 16th March
